remains just over ONE MONTH at the end of the competition .

In this case I want to bring this journal to the attention of Photographers who wish to participate in this event. Yes, because there is also the photographic section, therefore, Camera at the hand, and. .. click, click, click, to everything that falls under the theme of the competition.


Here, I will quote once again the rules of the Contest and its theme:

And yet, to learn kindness after so much unkindness, to understand that a little girl with more courage than she knew, would find her prayers were answered, can that not be called happiness? After the Spring Festival, in the middle of Season of Flowers, I'd like to start collecting the most beautiful Deviations that honor the Women's Protagonists Japan together with Cherry (Sakura) trees.
The Contest was inspired at this time of year and the famous Novel by Arthur Golden, Memoirs of a Geisha, from which it was derived the film of the same name. I wish the participants to seize the essence of Geisha and Hanami ("flower viewing", is the Japanese traditional custom of enjoying the beauty of flowers, "flower" in this case almost always meaning cherry blossoms or ume blossoms), celebrating as the "femininity" of this event so important in Japanese culture and the one depicted in the "Wives of Dusk".


The rules are simple:

-*- Respect the theme of the Contest -*-
-*- 1 Deviation for participant -*-
-*- Do not accept Deviation created before 21 March -*-
-*- Send a note to MargotYvy with the subject: "Geisha Contest" with the Link of Deviation, Thumb and brief description -*-
-*- I accept Deviations only coming into Digital Art, Traditional Art and Photography categories -*-
-*- Do not accept Deviation macabre, horror, which violate the rules of "good taste". I would also ask participants to respect the Artists Stocks, giving credits to them -*-
-*- Use so much creativity, fun to represent the theme of this Contest -*-
-*- The Contest will be closed 1° July to 12:00 PM (Greenwich Time)
